FIR Filed Against Rajinikanth's Wife Latha

An FIR has been registered against Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth in Bengaluru by the managing director of Ad Bureau Advertising Pvt Ltd, Chennai, M Abirchand Nahar. The superstars wife has reportedly been accused of cheating a post-production unit of Kochadaiiyaan.
She has also been accused of producing forged documents before a court.
Latha has been charged under IPC sections196 (using evidence known to be false), 199 (false statement made in declaration which is by law receivable as evidence), 420 (cheating) and 463 (forgery).
Nahar alleged that his firm did post-production work worth Rs. 14.9 crore for Kochadaiiyaan. The superstars wife had signed a contract and had guaranteed payment of the money. While the producer paid Rs 8.7 crore after the release of the film, the remaining Rs. 6.2 crore has allegedly not been paid.
She allegedly also presented forged documents in the name of Publishers and Broadcasters Welfare Association of India in the court, which was not accepted.
